Rutherford Corporate Center recently showcased its new mixed-use office project “The Directors Lofts at RCC” which combines private office space and creative work areas in Carlsbad, California.
The project is conveniently located within the Carlsbad business park, positioned West of El Camino Real and south of Fairday Ave, minutes from Interstate 5 and Palomar Airport Road. The inspiration for the project was a combination of market input from the properties leasing team at Cushman Wakefield and the creative vision of our design consultants at Unite Pacific. The specific layout of the spaces and collaborative concept was developed from listening closely to the current market demand for“flexible office spaces” and tenants tending willingness “to share”. The general contractor on this project was Pacific Providence Construction.
What makes The Directors Lofts unique is the large private office space combined with the collaborative shared areas. “Most collab office operations in North County offer only small “executive” type spaces or single desks in open environments. The only way to expand and grow in these spaces is to take on more single office rooms which are disconnected and impersonal. This is not conducive to small teams of four to five individuals trying to get their business to the next level.
