Schnitzer Properties’ Retail Division is comprised of well-established, prime west coast shopping center destinations, strategically located within a diverse mix of national retailers and specialty tenants.

The company has two landmark community shopping center properties in the Coachella Valley of California, located in fast-growing Palm Desert and La Quinta. 111 Town Center, a 159,025 square foot neighborhood shopping center, has a spectacular tenant lineup and complements the tone of Palm Desert’s justly famous retail hub. It is conveniently located near the El Paseo shopping district, Westfield Mall, and the Desert Crossing Shopping Center. 111 Town Center includes such essential brands as Whole Foods Market, HomeGoods, and Nordstrom Rack. The 127,562 square foot retail shopping center Plaza La Quinta is located at La Quinta’s “gateway,” at Highway 111 and Washington Street and is well-known to the local community and seasonal visitors thanks to a mix of favorites including Vons, Rubio’s, Starbucks, Five Guys, and many more. Both shopping centers are easily accessible from Highway 111 and enjoy close proximity to the nearby residential communities.

Von Karman Plaza, one of the jewels of Schnitzer Properties’ retail portfolio, serves the needs of the dynamic Orange County population with a diverse variety of national and regional tenants such as Wal-Mart, Staples, Jo-Ann Fabric & Crafts, and Seafood City. This 241,575 square foot shopping center serves the desirable cities of Irvine, Santa Ana, and Newport Beach, with key access to three major freeways.

Schnitzer Properties’ 373,076 square foot Nevada retail property, Stephanie Street Power Center, serves the thriving communities of Henderson and Southeast Las Vegas. The center attracts shoppers from the region’s growing population and healthy tourist trade with such national draws as Nordstrom Rack, Golf Galaxy, Total Wine, Outback Steakhouse, Hash House A Go Go, DSW, PetSmart, and Old Navy.

In the Pacific Northwest, Schnitzer Properties’ retail holdings encompass nearly a dozen urban and suburban specialty, neighborhood and community shopping centers throughout Oregon and Washington and include several popular locations in Downtown Portland, tucked into highly prized core urban shopping districts. Additionally, Schnitzer Properties owns three more retail assets in historic Beaverton, which was recently voted as one of our nation’s most diverse cities. The Oregon retail portfolio is rounded out with busy, high-visibility locations in the Tualatin-King City-Sherwood area. Our Oregon properties includes such key tenants as Nordstrom Rack, Burlington Coat Factory, Ross, PetSmart, Starbucks, Best Buy, Rite Aid, Marshalls, Walgreens, and TJ Maxx, and are located on major arterials, convenient to transit and near what is acknowledged as the state’s most prominent retail hubs.

Schnitzer Properties’ Washington State retail portfolio was uniquely selected for its strategic location between Tacoma to the South and Seattle to the North. Federal Way, Washington, lies directly between these core markets that continue to grow and expand. Our centers offer consumers in the outlying communities destination shopping, including Trader Joe’s, Michaels, Total Wine, DSW, HomeGoods, and Ulta.
